How this market settles
The result is the 30-year fixed rate in Freddie Mac's weekly mortgage survey (PMMS), published Thursdays at noon ET (Wednesday in a holiday week).
Over a rate wins if the published rate is above it; Under wins at that rate or below. "Higher than" the latest rate is the same as Over that rate.
Betting closes before the survey week starts.
